WORTHINGTON Cup Final winner Andy Cole has warned that Premiership survival is the main target.
Speaking ahead of Rovers' trip to the Reebok Stadium on Saturday, Cole said: "European football is a bonus for the club, but staying in the Premiership is the main aim."
Cole's Millennium Stadium winner earned Rovers the Worthington Cup with a famous 2-1 victory over Spurs and ignited fresh hopes that the £7m striker will push his way back into Sven Goran Eriksson's World Cup plans.
But Cole is thinking first about Rovers' perilous position three points adrift of Wanderers in the drop zone.
As Rovers returned to training today he said: "I hope the way we played and the cup win will kick start us from here to the end of the season.
"Five wins will be enough, and the way we are playing I am confident we will get the points."
