A SET of commemorative Commonwealth Games coins have been unveiled today ahead of this summer's multi-sport event.
The four £2 coins are said to represent celebration, victory and sportsmanship.
They show a moving figure holding a banner in the air and an edge inscription which reads "Spirit of Friendship, Manchester 2002."
Each of the four coins are identical except for a change of flag to represent the four home nations of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The Royal Mint is also producing the medals that will be awarded to winning athletes.
The four coins will be sold in a presentation pack priced at £14.95.
