MORE than than a million men will enjoy cheaper travel from the age of 60 under new legislation announced by the Government today.
Men in England and Wales will become eligible for travel concessions, mainly on buses, at the same age as women when the legislation comes into force in April next year.
At the moment men are not able to take advantage of concessionary travel schemes until they are 65, while women qualify from the age of 60.
