BRITAIN'S most glamorous gran, Sylvia Jackson, from Bolton, continues her taste of success -- on TV.
The 61-year-old from Tonge Moor, who has just scooped the national title after 20 years of competing, is to star on the popular Ready, Steady, Cook.
She will team up with last year's winner from the glamorous grandmother competition and host Ainsley Harriott for a programme to be filmed shortly in London.
"I'm not a great cook," admitted Sylvia, from Westby Avenue, "just plain meat, fish or vegetables, but nothing with herbs or spices."
But her family of children and grandchildren all love her shepherd's pie, and she is a big fan of any fish dish, especially lemon sole. She will have to choose ingredients for a dish under £10, and she has already sent off her list, including fish.
"I'm really looking forward to the filming," added Sylvia. "It's been exciting so far."
