A BUSY motorway junction at Worsley could be closed off in plans to unclog traffic on the M60.
The Government Office for the North-west has carried out a study to find ways to improve the most congested section of the motorway between junctions 18 and 12.
One idea is closing junction 13 at Worsley and switching traffic to junction 14.
Mike Hayward, manager of the Junction 18 to 12 Transport Study, said: "The study is looking at ways of reducing car use and increasing the use of public transport as a means of easing congestion."
An exhibition about all the suggested options will be held at various venues around the area from March 18 to 27.
It will be in Bolton on Tuesday March 19 at Victoria Square from 10am-5pm and at Worlsey Courthouse on Monday 25 from 5-8pm.
