PER Frandsen is rubbing his hands at the prospect of teaming up with Youri Djorkaeff.
The popular Reebok ace, right, is back in training after his month on the sidelines and confident he will be in the reckoning for the home game against Derby in a fortnight when a link-up with the French World Cup winner could provide Wanderers with a major attacking boost.
Frandsen is a Djorkaeff fan and reckons: "The manager has worked hard to bring Youri Djorkaeff to the club and it's a great lift for the players to have someone of his calibre coming into the side.
"We're determined to stay up and Youri is also fighting for his place in the World Cup so he's got an added incentive to give 100 per cent for Bolton. To have a World Cup winner playing alongside you is a great thing and it just shows how far we have come that someone of Youri's class decided to come here.
"Hopefully he can make the difference in the remaining games and at this level every point is valuable."
Frandsen added on his personal website: "He hasn't come to the Reebok for an easy ride and he knows how much is at stake for this club. If we can stay up it would be fantastic for the club and maybe Youri would consider staying with us if we did stay in the Premiership. He's out of contract in the Summer so he's out to impress any prospective managers in the three months we have left of the season.
"I know Dean Holdsworth has said relegation wouldn't be a disaster, but we all want to stay up and if you look at how well the club has done against the big clubs we know we have the ability to do it. When you add to that team a Frenchman with 75 international caps there is no shortage of talent here - we just need to get results."
