PEOPLE in Bolton are being invited to choose a wild flower that will be identified with their area for centuries to come as part of the County Flowers project.
To commemorate the Queen's Golden Jubilee, everyone in the UK is being given the opportunity to say which wild flower gives an area its character and sense of place. The project is organised by Plantlife, the wild plant conservation charity. Votes can be cast by visiting www.plantlife.org.uk until December 1.
