A FAMILY had to shelter at their neighbours after water flooded the ground floor of their Farnworth home.
The mother and her three children were woken at 2.45am today by the dog barking after the water pipe burst in the kitchen of their terraced house in Kilsby Close.
They had to stay at a neighbour's after the ground floor was flooded with two inches of water. Firefighters spent three hours at the incident as they had to turn the stopcock in the street off and isolate the electrics before the water could be pumped away.
