THE Bolton League retained the Doug Thomson Trophy when they beat the Farnworth League 8-0 in last week's inter-league challenge match at Dixon Green Labour Club.

The winning team consisted of Alan Dawber, Glyn Crook, Craig Steadman, Michael Rigby, David Taylor, Dave Hunt Jnr, Neil Moss and John Farnworth.

The Jim Worsley Memorial Trophy Final (sponsored by Federation Breweries) is to be played on Monday March 4 at Cuemasters Snooker Club involving Rileys SC A2 and Cuemasters SC A1. Dress code will apply.

League meeting on Monday March 4 at Bradford Ward Labour Club when details of the various cup competitions will be made available. All trophies should be returned on Monday.
