KEVIN Nolan is banking on home comforts helping him make a successful step up the international ladder.
The 19-year-old Wanderers' midfielder has been named today in the England Under 20s squad for the friendly international against Finland at the Reebok on Wednesday, March 13.
"I'm really looking forward to it," Nolan said. "Hopefully we'll get a good crowd and the Bolton fans will get behind us and show the Finns what England is all about." An impressive performance in the Finland game could earn Nolan a late call into David Platt's Under 21s for this summer's European Championship Finals in Switzerland but the Reebok ace is not building up his hopes.
"All I will be concerned about at the end of the season will be knowing Bolton are still in the Premiership," he said.
"It will have been a long season for me and I'll probably be glad of the rest."
