SHARON Davies, a tax specialist at Crossley and Davis in Bolton for 10 years, has joined Accrington-based accountants and business advisers Mayes Business Partnership.
Sharon, aged 34, of Astley Bridge, Bolton, previously worked for Grant Thornton in Liverpool. She read law at Liverpool University but decided the legal profession was not for her.
"We did related subjects in law and I discovered I had a flair for tax matters so when I graduated, instead of joining a law firm, I joined an accountant's," she says.
Now she is doubly qualified as a member of ATT, the Association of Tax Technicians, and is a member of the Institute of Taxation.
Married with a six-month-old baby daughter she describes herself as an exercise fanatic. "I go to the gym a lot and like walking the dog with my husband," she says.
