THE trial of a man charged with the murder of a father-of-three whose badly burned body was found on moorland is due to start today.
Tasawar Hussain, aged 36, from Bromwich Street, is alleged to have murdered Shadaz Fayyaz on Saturday November 10 last year.
The 31-year-old from Rishton Lane, Great Lever, was found the following morning in a field off George's Lane, Horwich.
A post mortem examination found that Mr Fayyaz died of head injuries and his body had been set on fire.
It was discovered by two youngsters at about 10.40am the next day.
The trial at Liverpool Crown Court is expected to last two weeks.
