CHORLEY'S Albany High School has a busy time ahead this month.
Wednesday, May 15, sees round two of the Lancashire County Enterprises Schools Maths Challenge 2002 at Holy Cross High School, Chorley, with year seven pupils taking part.
On the same day, year 11 pupils will attend a special leaving dinner and disco at The Pines Hotel, Clayton-le-Woods, from 7pm-11pm.
Meanwhile on Tuesday, May 21, the school will play host to a Ready Steady Cook challenge, with local primary school youngsters and their parents taking part.
A local chef will judge the competition, which takes place between 6.30pm-8pm.
The Chorley Schools Football Tournaments take place at Albany on Wednesday, May 22, between 4pm-6pm.
And on Friday, May 24, all year seven pupils are taking part in a skipping challenge in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
The event will last one hour starting at about 1.45pm. Children have been involved in workshops to improve their skipping skills.
