BOLTON'S cardiac support group is 110 per cent behind the town's £1 million appeal to build a new unit.
They have raised over £5,000 for the fund which was launched at a ceremony at The Reebok Stadium earlier this week.
The BEN's adopted charity for 2002 already stands at more than £355,000.
Anne Kaneen, MBE, founder of the support group, said: "This is a cause very close to all our hearts.
"I have no doubt that we will reach our target. The amount of support that we have already is overwhelming. We need a bigger unit, now."
