A 13-YEAR-OLD runaway girl who found refuge at the Darwen home of two alcoholics died of an overdose of medication, Preston Crown Court was told.
Melissa Strickson swallowed Co-proxamol tablets and valium at the flat, the court heard. Sally Corkhill, aged 41, who was harbouring the girl and two friends, denies manslaughter and supplying valium.
