A CHURCH in Little Hulton is to play host to children from Belarus.
The Peel Team, organised by St Paul's Church in Peel, is repeating last year's visit by 10 children aged eight to 11 years old from Stolin, Belarus, in August.
A car rally is planned this Sunday May 12 at the church in Manchester Road West, Little Hulton, to raise money to help provide food and activities for the children.
People in Chernobyl are still being exposed to low level radiation following the world's worst nuclear accident 16 years ago.
Groups of children visit this country to boost their immune systems to build them up for face the severe winters in Belarus.
Anyone who wants to take part in the car rally should check in at the parish hall from 12.30pm. It costs £10 per car including passengers. More details on 01942 875596.
