THE Bolton Clarion ten mile championship went to favourite Andy Horner. who excelled himself on a good afternoon at Garstang. A time of 21mins 53secs also put him third overall.
Silver went to Bob Hodgins and bronze to a rapidly improving Ian Littlewood.
Sally Roy completed a weekend double with a with first lady in the combined ten mile followed by the 30 mile event recording 27mins35secs and 1hr.29mins.22secs, respectively.
Clarion rides for Sunday May 12: The C ride visit Great Budworth, with its black and white buildings and church being the prime attraction.
The A ride head across the Pennines to Hebden Bridge in west Yorkshire.
