FIVE weeks without a win, Jesses Warriors have taken the Bolton Evening News Naps table by storm after landing 33-1 shot Sarangani in the second race at Ripon.
They have jumped into joint second with MMC on £28 from the fictious £1 stake each week, but still trail leaders Halliwell Anglers who have £32.
Although it is early days, more than 100 teams have yet to pick a winner, but some who have been successful should perhaps change their tactics.
Red Galaxy was a popular choice for eight teams in the 3.35 at Ripon, but at 8-13 ON Fav is hardly likely to push your team towards the £500 first prize.
Thirty two teams picked winners this week and 43 are still in the black, but Halliwell Anglers are setting a hot pace at the top after picking two big winners.
Top winning bets each week have been Falcon Hill at 11-1, Snow Shoes and Bindaree at 20-1, Florentine Flutter at 8-1, The Judge 12-1 and now Sarangani at a massive 33-1.
Two hundred teams are taking part in the Anthony Axford sponsored competition, with a first prize of £500 to the winners.
