A FARNWORTH man phoned a court to tell them he was not coming because he did not have enough money to get there.
Bolton magistrates heard that Lee Braddock, aged 19, of Crompton Street, had been due to appear in court over a criminal damage charge on May 7.
Braddock had been charged with damaging a window at the Royal Bolton Hospital, causing £100 worth of damage.
He was ordered to pay £190 and was given a conditional discharge for two years.
