A NEW 319-bed unit costing £56m was due to be officially unveiled at a hospital in the region today.
The new wing at Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester, includes an accident and emergency department and intensive care/high dependency unit.
Other new units include coronary care, specialist burns, renal dialysis and a fracture clinic plus six operating theatres and 10 wards.
