SIX men from the Manchester area were arrested in Levenshulme by officers from the National Crime Squad who seized 30kg of herbal cannabis being smuggled from Holland to Manchester. The arrest came as part of a five month operation.
More than £80,000 in cash was also recovered which had been hidden in sacks of rice thought to be bound for Holland.
The drugs, with an estimated street value of up to £100,000, were hidden in bags of Masala powder after a raid on premises in Levenshulme in Manchester. All six men have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
