THE quiz nights on Mondays at the Barton Arms, Worsley, have always been a popular choice, but running a quiz is a tough old business and barman-turned-resident-quizmaster Dave Hill is jetting off to sunny Spain for a rest. Boo!
However, regulars might find a little solace in the fact that top Key 103 DJs JK and Joel have decided to step in for a night. Hurrah!
The presenters of the popular radio breakfast show responded to the calls they were receiving from quiz fans who were depressed that Dave was leaving -- and, bless 'em, the lads decided to see if they could live up to his mighty quizmaster reputation.
The pair will be testing the brainpower of the Barton Arms regulars next Monday night, so get yourself down there for what promises to be an entertaining and illuminating experience!
Whatever happens, the biggest question of the night will be: can they do a better job than Dave?
