WITH two chart-topping singles and a third in the pipeline, it perhaps isn't surprising that I had to fight my way through the crowds to catch a glimpse of Ian Van Dahl performing at Atlantis on Sunday night.
The Belgian dance act have caused quite a stir since they emerged on the UK music scene, not least due to the common confusion over "Ian" being the rather attractive blonde female, Annemie Coehen, who fronts the group.
The trance outfit visited the Bolton nightclub, at the Valley Centertainment Park, as part of a promotional tour for their debut album, Ace, to be released May 20.
Their winning set, which included last summer's anthem Castles In The Sky, drove the enthusiastic audience wild.
The brains behind the outfit -- Belgium producers Christophe Chantzis and Erik Vanspauwen -- will no doubt be looking for a first Number One with Reason, which is released on Monday.
