NEIL Turley will put a week of transfer talk behind him and take his place in the Leigh Centurions side that battles for a Buddies National League Cup semi-final spot this weekend.
And according to coach Paul Terzis, Turley is ready to do his talking on the pitch.
"It's been a difficult week for him but now he's decided to stay at Leigh rather that join Warrington, I've noticed a spring back in his step. He looks like a great weight's been lifted off his shoulder," says Terzis.
"He's made a big commitment to Leigh and hopefully we can repay him on the field."
Given a home quarter-final tie against old NFP rivals Hull KR, Leigh will start as favourites tomorrow but know they are in for a tough battle against the Robins.
"We know exactly what to expect," says Terzis. "Rovers are a physical and aggressive side and we've got to match them in that department. If we do, we've got quality all across the park to make sure we get through."
But Terzis has had a headache all week with three front rowers all under treatment.
Vila Matautia and Simon Knox have slight knee problems when Dave Bradbury picked up an ankle strain and dislocated finger at Barrow. "We'll have to assess things closer to kick off," Terzis says.
With Dave Whittle on loan at St Helens, Leigh could be forced into pressing Chris Morley or Gareth Price into the prop positions.
But back into the side comes Simon Baldwin who missed the Barrow game with a hand injury. Also back in the 17 will be stand-off Simon Svabic who has been out for six weeks with a broken and dislocated finger.
