NO-ONE deserves the accolade of Bolton's Player of the Year more than Simon Charlton.
His consistency at the heart of Bolton's defence has played such an influential role in their Premiership survival.
He must also be praised for the way he took on the captain's mantle during Bergsson's absence, and led the team to crucial victories over Charlton, Aston Villa and Ipswich.
A true professional and worthy winner of this award. Bolton will be relying on his skill and commitment next season, and rest assured, he won't let them down
