THE OWNERS of seven care homes and 11 residents are today applying for a judicial review of a local authority's policies for caring for the elderly.
In February, Lancashire County Council announced it wants to close 35 of its 48 care homes.
It also plans to reduce financial support for private homes to save money.
This morning a barrister for the campaigners against the proposals will deliver the application the the High Court in London.
