IN response to the letter regarding the "blue badge" being shown the wrong way.
I got a parking ticket for displaying my blue badge the wrong way. Unlike Yvonne Knight, I do not know the law. But unfortunately on that particular day I went into town with my daughter in her car and inadvertently did not realise the mistake.
It would save a lot of hassle all round if the attendants would at least be able to give a warning in such circumstances, as the offence isn't obviously done deliberately.
What upset me more so was the fact that it's my daughter who has got the fine.
We have sent a letter of explanation. But we are still awaiting a reply. I'm sure most people like myself think it is most unfair for such a trivial offence.
