THE Wigan and Leigh, and Bolton Community Safety Partnerships are staging an open day on Thursday for prisoners at Forest Bank Prison at Agecroft, near Salford.
There are about 800 inmates at the privately-run prison, nearly half of them from Bolton, Wigan and Leigh. Private, public and voluntary organisations will tell prisoners about support services ahead of their release.
