A MAN has appeared in court after a car crashed into a house in Lilly Street, Heaton.
Iranian Mazdak Nourdlinmoosa, aged 27, spoke through an interpreter only to confirm his name and address when he appeared at Bolton Magistrates Court yesterday.
He is charged with driving other than in accordance with a driving licence, without insurance, and without due care and attention.
Mr Nourdlinmoosa is also charged with obstructing police, failing to stop after an accident, and failing to report an accident during the same incident.
A white Nissan Micra crashed into the front of the house after mounting the pavement and colliding with a parked car on the evening of April 2.
Shocked residents heard a bang and ran outside to see what had happened.
A 62-year-old man who had just had his house renovated, returned home from a night out to find the car lodged in the front door of his mid-terraced home.
Magistrates adjourned the case for one week until Tuesday, May 23, and granted Mr Nourdlinmoosa unconditional bail.
