BRITAIN'S celebrity star-gazer Patrick Moore will be dazzling people in Bolton with his knowledge on space when he visits the town.
The broadcaster will be presenting a new lecture, entitled The Great Universe, at the Albert Halls.
This second lecture in a series of three will continue the media personality's journey of space exploration.
Patrick will use the latest colour slide projections available to take his audience out into deep space, looking in great depth at constellations, the birth, life and death of great stars and how to find your way around in the night sky.
He also explores other galaxies, the wonders of black holes and the mysteries of nebulae, travelling out to the very edge of the universe.
The lecture, on Saturday, June 8, is suitable for all ages. Tickets are available from the box office on Bolton 334400.
