SYLVIA HUGHES of 58 Minetts Avenue, Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL52 8JT, says: "I am trying to compile a family history of the Foulkes family who used to reside in Cemetery Road, Kearsley, around 1900. The father was James Lloyd Foulkes, and the Elizabeth Helen Foulkes, late Clayton (nee Lindley). There were three brothers Samuel (whose history I know), Jim and Louis. Louis emigrated to America and now lives in Texas but I cannot find any information on Jim. If anyone knows of the family could they please contact me."
DAVID SMITH of 58 Maplewood Gardens, Bolton, BL1 3NR, writes: "Have just relocated to this area and am trying to find my Uncle and Cousins. Peter and Shelia Smith. Their children are called Peter, Paul, Alan and Angela. I have not seen any of them since my Gran's funeral in Birmingham."

JOAN BANNISTER (nee Ashmore) of Red Rose Barn, New House Lane, Ashdon, Saffron Walden, Essex, CB10 2LXI, writes: "I am trying to find my sister Irene Ashmore born November 9, 1940, in Jury Street, Leigh. We were in a home in Kirkham until 1949 when we lost contact. Irene may then have gone to a home in Bolton, and may have married and possibly lived in Little Lever about 30 years ago. If anyone can help with information I would be very grateful as I would love to find my sister who I have not seen for 50 years."

MARTIN HIBBERT writes: "Can anyone help? I am searching for information about a Winifred Mary Sutherland (nee Hall) who died August 13, 1932, age 29 years. At the time of her death she was living at Wigan Road. Her husband was Ralph Sutherland, he was an Assistant District Manager with the Co-Operative Insurance Company, not sure which branch. Winifred left two children June and Brian. Any help would be very much appreciated."
