WHAT a weird feeling turning up for a game without any anxiety, knowing that whatever happened we were playing a part in Manchester United's title ambitions.
Building up to the game I didn't have any nerves whatsoever, which is a first from what I can remember.
In the game itself, Arsenal were fantastic, as always, and totally deserving the Premiership crown. They looked fast, their passing and insight was sublime and it has taken until the penultimate game of the season to see a totally world class team play at the Reebok.
But for 30 minutes we played very well indeed and gave them a good run for their money.
It is a magnificent feeling to know we are safe but how ironic that our fate was in Manchester United's hands on Saturday while, in turn, they were hoping we could do them a favour by upsetting Arsenal.
So, being a true Bolton fan, I found consolation in defeat last night, knowing the result, however disappointing for us, had improved Arsenal's title chances.
Man of the Match: Freddie Ljungberg.
