NORTH-WEST Euro MP Gary Titley has called on President Bush to reverse a newly-signed bill that almost doubles agricultural subsidies to US farmers.
Mr Titley, who is Labour's European trade and industry spokesman, has warned that the $190 billion cash hand-out was a major blow to the latest set of world trade talks.
He said: "This is a huge blow. President Bush's action really is a stab in the back for poorer countries."
