T ONY Blair announced on TV he would like to go down in history as the man who introduced the British people to the Euro.
In my book, he would go down in history as the man who achieved with the stroke of a pen what Napoleon, Kaiser Bill, Hitler and Mussolini failed to do with base steel, shot, shells and bombs in previous years gone by, and that is by just giving the British people's heritage and sacrifices away without as much as a whimper (just a huge smile).
I am in my 80s but still retain a long and good memory, Being an ordinary British citizen and an old soldier, as my late father was before me. He joined the GG at 19, was wounded three times and lost his right arm at the age of 21 just before the 1914-18 War finished.
I still attend the service annually at the Cenotaph to remember fallen comrades and family who sacrificed everything for this country of ours.
For what?
Nothing.
