REGARDING Nab Gate Farm and the extension of Breightmet Golf Club.
Why do they need to take this farmer's livelihood, and also destroy the green fields and hedgerows and the wildlife habitats, when they already have the largest nine hole golf course in Lancashire?
To extend this course not only ruins this farmer's life, but it also spoils it for all the people who have walked the pathways with their dogs and children.
I have walked these paths for over 30 years, three to four times daily, seven days a week in all weathers. On many of these walks you see more dog walkers than golfers.
I would like someone from the golf club, such as its president, to respond, as to why they are keeping quiet over this.
