MAY I pay tribute to staff and carers of J2 ward at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
My husband died on May 9, after suffering from the debilitating illness of Alzheimers for seven years, the last three being in their care.
They do their difficult job with cheerfulness and kindness, to both patients and relatives.
Most of their patients are doubly incontinent, and some have to he hand-fed, but they are allowed as much dignity as is possible. And some of the gentlemen can't even say thank you, but I and my family can and we do most heartedly.
Thank you, you lovely people, we are forever in your debt.
Ella Ward and family
