STARTED the week with a mad weekend in Manchester.
I was filming a future episode for Wish Your Were Here and stayed at the Lowry Hotel, which was incredible.
Paid a visit to its River Bar which was a bit of a "spot the famous person" kind of place.
Westlife were in there -- I think they were playing in Manchester or something -- but I spent part of the evening having a couple (?) of drinks with Charlatans front man Tim Burgess (pictured) and former Stone Roses bassist Mani.
They'd been to a wedding -- one of the Charlatans had got married -- and they were staying at the hotel. Brilliant blokes too. Tim is a good laugh and Mani, well, what can I say about him apart from he's a complete and utter star.
Then it was off to Rusholme for a curry, a few city centre bars after and then Sankeys Soap, where John Carter was DJing. His wife, Sara Cox, was there too.
I'm not sure when the programme is appearing on the telly but I think it's to coincide with the Commonwealth Games so it shouldn't be too long.
Back to London on Sunday where I appeared on It's Only TV But I Like It with Jonathan Ross. Again, another top bloke and very, very funny. He's never stuck for anything to say. I really enjoyed working with him.
We've got Will Young, Atomic Kitten, Hear'Say and Samantha Mumba and her brother on T4 this week so it should be a packed programme as usual. Don't forget to tune in. And don't forget Big Brother starts tonight.
See you next week!
