LRC rider Craig Battersby confirmed his form winning a 10 mile event on the Levens course in Cumbria.
Craig was fastest overall in a time of 21:09. In the same event Ian Ainsworth produced a personal best time of 24:56 while Peter Graham was narrowly beaten in the veterans' event, in 25:21.
On the L101 course at Brock, LRC veterans were once again to the fore with Frank Mackin the fastest in 24:44 followed by Stan Simister (26:52), Glen Kenyon (27:16) and John Partington (27:45).
In the North Lancs VTTA 10 mile event again on the L101 course, LRC Veterans were out in force, Frank Kerry finishing first 23.33 on actual time and veterans standard in his age group.
Also producing fine times in the same event were:- Stan Simister 28:09, John Partington 27:19, Peter Graham 26:22, Ken Howe 26:37, Ian Ainsworth 25:32, Frank Mackin 25:58, Alex Munro 26:36, Len Kerry 27:40 & Gordon Holt 26:04
Club run on Sunday is to Waddington. Meet Royal Oak, Tonge Moor Road 9am.
The ride on May 26th will be to the Cafe at Waddington.
Anyone wishing to join the run should turn up on the day with a roadbike (and spare inner tube - just in case!) you will be made very welcome
