SUSTRANS, the sustainable transport charity, is trying to recruit volunteers to act as Community Rangers in Bolton to help maintain sections of the National Cycle Network (NCN).
Community Rangers help with minor maintenance such as cutting back overhanging brambles, signing, and reporting potential hazards, like potholes. They volunteer for an average of one hour per week, often in groups with other local rangers. Full training and expenses wil be provided.
