Super Sheila
RADCLIFFE AC's Sheila McNulty finished third England O/50 in the Coniston Fell Race, an English Championship race.
Alec Steele, an over 50, was the best of Radcliffe's contingent, placed 292nd and 38th O/50.
In the O/50s Tom West, now 60, coped with the heat, the 2,500ft of climbs, managed to negotiate the steep and often dodgy descents, and finished 16th among some fantastic O/60 runners in 1.59.14.
