A ROAD resurfacing scheme is expected to cause problems for motorists in Horwich this week.
Long delays are expected as Bolton Council works to resurface a stretch of Chorley Old Road, from the Jolly Crofter Pub to Georges Lane. The project is expected to end on Friday.
work has also started in Bolton town centre on resurfacing a section of Great Moor Street, near to the junction with Blackhorse Street.
The scheme is expected to end on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, temporary traffic lights continue in Bradshaw -- at the Leagate, Bradshaw Brow and Bolton Road junction.
The Norweb project is likely to end early next month.
A week-long sewer connection scheme will also start early next month in Manchester Road, Hulton Park, and long delays are expected.
