MEMBERS past and present of Bolton Lads' and Girls' Club gathered to bid farewell to the base that has been the club's home for more than 110 years.
The club will be heading to its new home in Spa Road in June, and club members old and new gathered at its present headquarters in Bark Street to say goodbye and celebrate the move.
Staff and club members are excited about moving to the £4.2 million building.
It will extend the services the club has to offer, and bring it together in one centre, on the former Navada Roller Skating Rink site by Queens Park.
The event on Saturday gave some old faces the chance to wander around the club before it finally shuts its doors next month.
Past members were able to have a look at some of the facilities at the old site, while finding out what's on offer in the Spa Road building.
Centre manager Jeremy Glover has been working hard with other staff members to get ready for the move. He said: "It's thrilling to be going to the new building with some fantastic facilities.
"At last the young people will have access to all the great equipment and services they deserve, and it will be nice to bring everything we have to offer into one place in Bolton."
With its outdoor football pitch and gym, Bolton Lads' and Girls' Club will be able to offer the town's youngsters a great deal more to keep them occupied seven days a week.
Staff will be given the keys to the new building during the first week of June and it is hoped that they will make their way to the new premises with more than 200 club members in a street parade on June 29.
