A DROPPED catch in the last over cost Spring View their chance to mark their march to the top of the table with a win over Atherton.
Chasing a target of 177, Atherton's last pair were at the wicket when slip fielder Tony Kelly failed to take a difficult chance off David Baines.
As it was Atherton managed to hold out after four overs had been lost and finished the match on 160-9, Parry top scoring with 50.
Earlier Paul Matthews hit 62 and pro Ian Critchley 56 not out in Spring View's 177-7, Greg Dimery taking 4-51.
