THE article "Town So Close To Jackpot" in the Bolton Evening News on May 9 was unimaginable reading!
It is obvious that yet again that readers and council tenants are being misinformed.
It stated that "repairs are six months behind schedule plus waiting list".
I am a council tenant, and I alone have been waiting four years for a job to be done!
I live in Westhoughton, in laymans terms commonly known as "Brigadoon" -- you know, the town that appears every 100 years!
As for Mr Noel Spencer, he needs to get out more and stop blowing a trumpet that is well out of tune. He should talk to the real tenants.
How Bolton council have been awarded two out of three stars is beyond belief. Unless of course the stars were seen from the planet that they have been living on.
Disgruntled and still waiting...
