DERIAN House Children's Hospice is to hold its annual gala weekend on June 15 and 16.
Attractions include a funfair,donkey rides, a rural crafts fair and several displays.
A five-mile road race is also organised to begin at 11 am on June 16. Itwill take runners on a circular route from the hospice, round Chorley and back to the field.
Mascots from many of the region's top football clubs will also be in attendance for children to try tobeat in a penalty kick competition.
Clubs represented will include Manchester United, Manchester City and Preston North End.
The venue is the field next to the hospice in Chancery Road, Astley Village.
Admission is 50p with children under the age of 12 years free when accompanied by an adult.
