NIALL Quinn today revealed how all 22 members of the Republic of Ireland's World Cup squad voted in favour of Roy Keane not being allowed to return to the Far East.
Keane was sent home last week by manager Mick McCarthy after a clear-the-air meeting with the Manchester United skipper had turned into a "slanging match".
But Keane said yesterday he wanted to return and McCarthy had left the door open for the midfielder to apologise, which could have left a route back into the squad.
However, Quinn claimed all 22 voted unanimously to back McCarthy.
