A WOMAN was arrested by police when she continued to swear when officers asked her to calm down.
Margaret McNulty, aged 32, admitted behaving in a manner likely to cause breach of the peace at an incident near her home on Lune Drive, Bury. She was bound over in the sum of £100 for a period of 12 months.
The defendant continued to swear and the police said they had to arrest her for fear of further disturbances.
At Bury magistrates court yesterday, McNulty admitted behaving in a manner whereby a breach of the peace was occasioned. She was bound over in the sum of £100 for a period of 12 months.
