DENMARK have rubbished reports about an alleged brawl involving Wanderer Stig Tofting during training on Tuesday.
Jesper Gronkjaer was ambushed by team-mates Tofting and Thomas Gravesen, who sprayed the Chelsea winger with water and put ice cubes down his shorts.
The horseplay appeared to turn sour when Gronkjaer hurt his eye - but he played down the incident.
"It was just a joke, and I honestly don't see how anyone who saw it can write differently," said Gronkjaer.
"We were just messing around like boys do, and that's all there is to it."
Tofting and Graversen refused to comment on the matter, while coach Morten Olsen has not disciplined any of the players involved
