NEW products worth mentioning this week include help for hair, things for the home and food.
PRIMULA has launched a range of tasty snacks designed for children. They are all designed around the Scooby-Doo theme and include dippers which are twin pots with Primula cheese dip and wheat snacks, pizza snacks or cheese and onion triangles (49pence each), a squeezy snackpack (£1.49) which includes snacks, drink and chocolate biscuits and tubes of cheese.. Available in leading supermarkets.
CLARINS has three new gentle care deodorants (£11.50) to add to their collection of beauty products. The big difference between these and most other deodorants is that they care for the skin as well as helping to keep you cool and dry. There is a roll-on, a stick version and a cream deodorant. Available at Clarins counters.
TONI AND GUY new Insights range consists of 19 individual products, split into four categories of shine, moisture, volume and colour. There are shampoos (£4.49 each), conditioners and special treatments, all designed to help specific hair types. The products have been created by Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck, the creative director for Toni and Guy and daughter of founder Toni Mascolo. The range will be available from June 17 in Boots' stores.
THIERRY MUGLER'S Cologne is fantastic. Brand new to the range is a shower gel (£15) -- designed to complement the Cologne scent -- and an alcohol-free stick deodorant (£13). The beauty of the shower gel, which can be used on the body and hair, is that the fragrance really lasts on the skin. It has a really fresh fragrance and is perfect for the summer. Try the fragrance (£29) and the soap (£10). Cologne is suitable for men and women. Available from Kendals in Manchester and Selfridges in the Trafford Centre (where mail order is available).
RIMMEL has the perfect product for those of us who want to do brown -- but not by sitting in the sun. These browning products are reduced in Superdrug until June 25 -- instant tan face and body (£2.99), shimmering body gleam (£2.99), compact powder (£2.69) and self-tanning spray (£3.99).
ESTEE LAUDER can always be relied on to bring us brilliant colour in cosmetics. The Pure Color concept, encompassing nail lacquer, lipstick and now eyeshadow is a dream. The eyeshadows (£13.50) are available in neutrals and more intense shades. Available at Estee Lauder counters from June 10.
OSCAR DE LA RENTA perfumes has brought out a summery fragrance in the new tropical range. It is gloriously fresh and a change from a heavier scent. The Eau de Toilette is priced at £28 and the tropical body mist is £25. Available from The Fragrance Shop in the Crompton Place, Debenhams and Whitakers.
