CONDUCTORS for Arriva Trains Northern were on strike today as part of an ongoing pay dispute.
The walk-out was expected to cause extra disruption as commuters try to use public transport over the Golden Jubilee bank holiday weekend.
Arriva, which offered its conductors a pay increase of four per cent last month which was turned down, said it was frustrated and disappointed that customers would suffer.
